Sunday
Today has been a wonderful sunday! Solid church service this morning followed by a nice little BBQ. I wouldn’t mind the rain going away though. We played in bakersfield last night, which is always a good time! It was our first show in a awhile so we all were a bit tired. Time to start hitting the treadmill!  We have another dude coming tomorrow to try out slappin da bass. Stoked to see how...

Holding Onto Bass
Just a tiny update. As you probably already know we are still without a permanent bass player. We are daily seeking God’s wisdom on the matter knowing full well it’s so much more than just having the ability to play the instrument. We’re starting to hold tryouts which is something new for us, but we’re learning ; ). We know that God will bring the right person...

Valentines
So today is valentines day, we took the weekend off from writing and spent it hanging out with a bunch of friends that came in town. We have had quite a fun weekend thus far and it is always wonderful to see them. I can say we are all blessed with amazing friends and family! We will be heading to the beach pretty soon. :) It is literally 75 degrees with not a cloud in the sky on the beautiful...

Laying It Down
Today we have decided to quickly lay down the 6 basic song skeletons we have on the computer. This helps in various ways when writing in such bulk. It works out all the small kinks, while assuring us we are all on the same page.  Even when listening to these songs recorded straight into a laptop through garage band we are beyond pumped to share them with you! We hope this entry finds you well....

heavy
Started on song 6 today. Probably the heaviest song this band has written. I think it fits the album very well though. We will be finishing the first version of it tomorrow. Cant wait! We all went to klondikes all you can pizza after practice with some friends. It was so good, but we all got way to full! I seriously feel sick. Time to pass out. Until tomorrow! Cory HOH

Another One
Got another skeleton of a song in the bag! We are all super pumped on this one. It came together pretty quickly and sounds pretty epic. Gosh i cant wait to share these songs with you guys!!  So that makes 5 songs and we have a solid start for the 6th which we should finish in the next few days. We are hoping to demo out  6 songs this friday with a friend for our personal use. Pumped! Oh and were...

4 Songs
So as of yesterday we have 4 songs that we can call pretty solid skeletons. They are without vocals for the time being due to me having to fill in on the bass. We have 2 other songs started that should be finished by this next week. People have asked what they are sounding like and i think the best way to describe them which matt used was “dark and aggressive” I think this new stuff is...

Renewal
These last two weeks have been completely necessary. All i can explain to you is that we took a break from writing and time to focus on our friendships and our purpose. God intervened in some very large situations within our brotherhood and his calling on our lives. We can all contest to the importance of obedience and the amount of faith it takes to move forward in God’s calling. The...

Tonight
Tonight was amazing. I wish i could explain to every single one of you in person the events that took place. But i want you to know how real God is. I. I need you to know the unspeakable joy that complete faith in the Lord carries. It’s unbelievable I am in awe of Your presence. Let Your will be done. Cory
